The West Chatham Veterans Memorial is located at Siler City's Bray Park on South 2nd Avenue in Siler City. All veterans are eligible to be listed on the memorial. The memorial was established for and by veterans. This is a veterans' grass root effort to honor all veterans in Chatham County. Siler City graciously provided a perpetual site for the monument. The memorial depicts each branch of the military service along with the Great Seal of the United States. The layout of the memorial is by name, branch of service, war or conflict era.

The memorial will hold in excess of 800 names under it's present arrangement. It was designed to expand in years to come. Today the memorial reflects 612 names. Dedicated May, 14, 2006, by the  West Chatham Veterans Memorial Committee.
